Aunt Rusty,
I think of you all the time. I wish you could have gotten to know my youngest, Ethan who is now 15. He is very interested in history and travel, and he would have loved to talk to you about all of your adventures around the world. Much love always

I think about you often Aunt Rusty. It's hard to believe you have been gone this long. You never got to meet my youngest son which makes me sad as he would have loved you and especially all your stories about traveling all over. I remember going to the Sea Catch restaurant with you and Grandma when I was little. I miss you.

I think of you often and I make sure the candy dish that was yours is full of delicious sweets!

It's been a year since I last wrote. But certainly not a year when I last thought of you. This is going to be an interesting year politically. I know you would be right in the midst of it sharing your insight and having a good ole fashion showdown on each candidate. Would love to hear it but I can probably think of a few things you might say. I am praying hard on this Rusty.

Often times I think of you and the many valuable life lessons you spoke of. When one pops in my head I just smile and feel I know what you might say or do. Pretty presumptuous of me I know!
Kathryn will be getting married soon but you already know that. You will be watching and she will know you are there.
Talk with you later, Sheryl

I have been blessed for having Grandma Rusty in my life from childhood and into adulthood. I will always cherish my countless memories of happiness such as our many road trips to Pennsylvania and our many family vacations coupled with our almost constant laughter. God blessed me with a wonderful grandmother and I cannot be more thankful for the times we had together. Not one day will go by without her in my heart and thoughts. I will always miss you! I love you Grandma Rusty!

Aunt Rusty was a wonderful woman who we all loved and respected. She was always there to listen and offer wisdom when you needed it the most. We will miss her terribly and may her reunion with Uncle Bill be a time of celebration in heaven.

When I was a child my favorite thing in the world was visiting my aunt in her home on Lake Seminole. She would always give me little cans of juice that I loved and let me play with her ceramic eggs she collected from all over the world. She had the neatest stories to share about all her travels. She was a constant source of positivity in my childhood and I have so many memories of her and of my cousin Holly. I remember all those times with great love. She was a wonderful person and a great aunt and she always made me feel special

As a young nurse at the V.A., I had the distinct pleasure of working (& laughing) with Rusty for many years. It is with both respect & fondness that I remember her now, & send my sincere sympathy to Holly & her family at this sad time.

The Angels are singing and the Saints are clapping, as one of their own is finally home.

What a beautiful, brilliant, spirited, loving and strong willed woman Rusty was; loving the Lord all the way through her transition to her Heavenly home.

The family she left behind is a living testimony and legacy to the woman Rusty was here on earth.

To sweet Holly and all of your family; I am sorry for your loss. Your mama was inspiration for so many of us. That inspiration lives on in you. Rusty will be missed, but certainly not forgotten.

I am so blessed to have known her.

Rusty was a wonderful woman. I enjoyed so many talks with her from politics to the mere smell of a gardenia. Rusty had a way of making me see things differently (in a good way). Also to stand up, keep walking and don't feel sorry for yourself. She is so missed. Much love, Sheryl
