Charles Ciminera Obituary

Ciminera, Charles J.

"Charlie," 90, of Largo, passed away on October 5, 2025. Born in Mineola, NY, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict and later dedicated his career to law enforcement with the Nassau County Sheriff's Office and the Largo Police Department, where he retired as a sergeant. He was a longtime member and vice president of the Police Benevolent Association. Charlie is survived by his wife, Edna; children, Margo Lehner, Kristine Ciminera Cole, and Charles G. Ciminera; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774, on October 9, 2025, from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 9111 90th Ave, Largo, FL 33777, on October 10, 2025 at 11 am with a committal service immediately following at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774.
