I was a patient of Dr. Walker´s in the mid-1970´s. When my dad died in 1982 Dr. Walker came to the visitation. I hadn´t seen him in years and was so touched. Then, in 1990, my mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer and was at St. Joseph´s Hospital for several days. A mutual friend notified Dr. Walker. During mom´s hospitalization he stopped by every day. His presence was so comforting to her. He was kind, compassionate and humble. The world has lost a good man! I will never forget him. He was a rarity. Condolences to his family. Carol Silver

Charlie was a very well respected psychiatrist with a calm demeanor. I had the pleasure of seeing him on a nearly daily basis for many years in the halls of St. Joseph´s Hospital while making early morning rounds. He always greeted me with a smile and a friendly "good morning Tony" to start my day.

Charlie was a kind colleague who taught me how to care for our patients with such class. His quiet approach was a great example for me! RIP Dr. Walker
