Without knowing this anniversary, we watched pictures of Christine last evening and shared them with a friend. How we loved her; her graciousness, her faith, her role as a talisman for all the young people she touched at the library. Truly an icon to be treasured and remembered! Sandra & Gary Stevens, Canada

Ode to Miss Chris
A cherished spirit of wisdom and grace
benevolence glowing on a faithful face,
Stalwart, she gave freely of her wisdom and learning,
leading you all to a broadening yearning.
Reading and book reports were a legacy instilled,
strength of character a beacon subtly willed.
Go ye forth into the world filled with Hope, Fortitude and Christ's living water.
Emerge victorious,
you have been touched by God's Holy daughter.
Respectfully submitted,
Sandra Beattie-Stevens & Gary Stevens
