Claire LEVESQUE Obituary

LEVESQUE, Claire (Michaud), 78, of Zephyrhills, FL, beloved wife of the late Joseph Ronald Levesque, passed away November, 20, 2012. Claire was born August 12, 1934 in St.-Andre, N.B., Canada. She was the daughter of the late Alcide and Marie Levesque Michaud. Claire graduated in 1953 from Cormier High School in Edmundston, N.B. She later married the love of her life on May 8, 1966, raised her family in Glastonbury, CT, and later retired in Florida. Claire was employed by Union Carbide in East Hartford, CT, and was active in various bowling leagues. She enjoyed playing cards and belonged to many Mahjong clubs and was also a member of the Red Hats Society. Claire loved spending time with her family and had a passion for dancing. She was often found in the kitchen baking, singing and dancing. While she was retired in Florida she volunteered at the Ted Williams Museum where she developed her love of baseball and became a devoted fan of the Tampa Bay Rays. She was a member of and attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Zephyrhills FL. She leaves behind her four children, Philip Levesque and wife Janet of Ashland City, TN, Gail Fritzler and husband Scott of Eagle, CO, Michele Klar and husband Mike of Land O'Lakes, FL and Brenda Swenson and husband Rick of Bradenton, FL; and cherished grand-mother of nine grand-children, Tristan, Spencer, Alex, Karlie, Sage, Nicolas, Jack, Emily and Hailey. She is also survived by her 8 sisters, Delcia, Lorraine, Claudette (Emile), Yvonne, Jeanne D'Arc, Ginette (Jean-Charles), Lise and Chantal; her 5 brothers, Berthier (Yolande), Robert (Ida), Hermel, Adrien (Lorna) and Camille; and many nieces and nephews. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Guildor, Real, Rheo, and sister, Alvetta. A Memorial Mass will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 24, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5316 11th St., Zephyrhills, FL 33542. Burial will take place at a later date in Grand Isle, Maine. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gulfside Regional Hospice, Development Dept., 6117 Trouble Creek Rd., New Port Richey, FL 34653.
