Clarence Davis Obituary

DAVIS, Clarence "Thin Man" 73, of St. Petersburg, died on June 3, 2011. A native of Tampa, and 1957 graduate of Middleton High School. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Science from FAMU and his Masters from North Carolina State University. He retired from The Pinellas County School System after 23 years of service and was owner - operator of Davis Bail Bondman Service. He was affiliated with the National Negro High School Hall of Fame, The Legends of Tampa and was an avid golfer. Survivors include wife Earnestine Davis; son, Clarence Davis Jr. (Brennadette); daughters, Lenita Balloon (Reginald, Sr.) and Carmen Davis; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. Visitation Friday, June 10th, 4-8 pm, family will receive friends 6 pm at Smith Funeral Home 894-2266. Memorial Service Saturday, June 11th, 11 am, Rock of Jesus Missionary Baptist Church.
