Memories and Condolences
for Cliff Frink

Not sure what to say?

Kathy Morrison

Our family is so blessed to have had Cliff as our Pastor. He was such a remarkable man who loved everyone unconditionally.
In the words of one of the speakers at his memorial service "He taught us how to live and he taught us how to die", those words are so true and I can only hope to live and die with such grace.
Our family has so many memories of this precious man that God gave us for such a short time here on earth. We cried together and laughed together but the most important memory is our youngest son being saved under his wing. We feel an emptiness in our hearts even though we know we will see him again one day. Our emptiness can not even compare to what Evona, Micah, Caleb, Lucas, Mrs. Kay & Bro. Cliff, Sr. & family are feeling and we want you to know you are always in our hearts and prayers. May God give you the comfort He has promised.

With Much Love & Prayers,

Dear Evona, Micah, Caleb, Lucas, Cliff Sr, Kay & Family:

Words cannot express the emptyness in my heart over the homegoing of Brother Cliff. His warmth and love for others was such a gift. His preaching was great! It was obvious he spent many hours studying to prepare his sermons. His humor kept us laughing. He was definitely one-of-a-kind and an inspiration to all that came in contact with him. The four years I worked for him as church secretary were great times. He was a terrific boss as well.

The daily updates that Brother Cliff & Evona composed on the website were really an inspiration and I looked forward each day to reading them.

Having known Brother Cliff since he was a young boy and then seeing him grow into such a wonderful pastor, husband and father was a blessing. His love for our God and his family was so evident in all he said and did.

Our hearts are broken in losing him but even more so for the grief your sweet family must endure. We look forward to the day God wipes those tears away forever.

With love and prayers for the family, Harold and Annette

You are being prayed for and remembered by friends way down in Mobile, AL. I received e-mails on a daily basis and I thought the world of Bro Cliff and I didn't even know him. Wow....what a fight he fought and what a testimony he left. Now he is with the Lord. Praying for Evona and boys.

Dear Evona and boys,
i just wanted to let you know how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I went on a youth trip when i was 13 yrs old (about 17 yrs ago) and Cliff was a big inspiration for me. I have thought about that trip for the past 17 years. I was unsaved until 3 years ago. I had contracted the deadly flesh eating disease and the Lord healed me from it and brought me to him. I am so thankful each and everyday because i have never experienced the happiness that I have now and that is what I can remember seeing in Pastor Cliff.

Dear Evona,
I just received the news through our church, First Baptist Brandon, that your dear husband went home to be with the Lord. My husband, Robert, was diagnosed with leukemia at the same time as Pastor Cliff was diagnosed. I have had several of your online journal entries forwarded to me as encouragement. I, too, have three small children.

I know there are no words to adequately express how much my heart aches for you and your three sons at the loss of your precious husband. Please know that I am continually lifting you and your boys up in prayer, calling on God as Jehovah Shalom, to minister peace to you. I pray that He will continue to meet every need, mend every heartache, act as Watchman over you and your children and be what He is capable of being; your Kinsmen Redeemer, your Bridegroom.

Not many of us have been called upon to sacrifice the way that you and Cliff have been called upon. Praise the Lord that He has found you faithful. I pray that I will have the faith that both of you displayed when our time comes.

In His Service,

Neil and Darlene Moore

Dear Evona and boys,

Our hearts are still broken and so sad. Again, thank you for being so kind to us the times that we were included in the family gatherings. We will never forget the good times we shared and the many laughs that we shared also. Our thoughts and prayers will be always and our love to you and the boys. We will see our Cliff again once we all get to heaven and share the laughs again. Our love to you.

Evona and boys,
We love you and you are in our thoughts and prayers daily. I can't even imagine your grief. To know Cliff was to love him. He was a Bright light in a dark world showing others God's love in a way only he could. He could always put a smile on your face. I have so many good memories of being in his youth group-all the crazy activities we would do-Destination Unknowns, "The Booger Chase", and even the time he taught us the errors of the Satanic Bible-the classroom caught on fire by the way. He had a zest for life and for living it for God. He will be greatly missed and his being in Heaven only makes me wish for that reunion day more. God bless and comfort you as only He can.
With Much Love,

We can't help but wonder why Bro.Cliff? And Nov.17,1983 Bro. Cliff was asking "why not me?" Now just look at what God has done through Bro.Cliff. We can't wait to see what's going to happened now. There is a reason. We just can't see it yet. Bro.Cliff was a amazing pastor. He taught us so much & made us laugh so much. Things come back to me daily on what Bro.Cliff taught me as a teenager. We're praying for all the family and Bro. Cliff, can't wait to see you in the morning.

To our precious family in Christ,

Our hearts are broken and yet rejoicing at the same time. Pastor Cliff has the perfect healing that only GOD can give. We had faith that GOD would heal our Pastor, but selfishly I wanted the healing that was not in GODS plan. Jeff, Brandi and I love you all and will be there anytime you need a HUG!

Mrs.Evona, Micah, Caleb, Lucas and the rest of the Family...My heart goes out to you all...We look at a person's wealth to see how great they are but in Bro. Cliff we were able to see how great his wealth was with HIS Heavenly Father, HIS Wife, HIS Sons and HIS Family...no man can measure Bro. Cliff's wealth, be we all can see it in the love he left behind for all those he cared about so much...one of many members of Fellowship but more importanly member of Heaven...

Evona and boys, Cliff Sr. and Mrs. Kay,
I can't begin to tell you what Cliff meant to me and the many lives he touched. He was the best Youth Pastor and Pastor I ever had. I have learned so much from him. He was the greatest example and teacher of how we all should live and serve God. He has done so much for me over the years and I'm very thankful God allowed the opportunity for him to influence so many lives.
I love you all and will pray for the family and the Church.

Mrs. Evona and Family,
I am a stranger to you but have followed the online journal for quite some time after reading about it in the paper. I am married to a Preacher's Kid with a great sense of humor (Southern Baptist) and am a former/current Moffitt patient - I felt a kinship to your family and church. I was very saddened to read Pastor Frink's obituary in my weekend paper. I just finished reading the final journal online entries which are very touching, spiritual, sad and yet uplifting if that makes sense. May you and your family be blessed and find great comfort in your memories - you are a beautiful family. Keep the faith and know that your husband (and you) touched many lives, even a stranger like me.

What an amazing service we had last night in honor of Bro. Cliff. His life touched so many and that was evident as the people endlessly flooded through the church doors.

It's hard not to feel selfish and wish that this had never happened. But, God answered our prayers and now our Pastor and friend is finally without cancer or pain. Though we'll miss him with all of our hearts, we have God's promise to see him again in glory!

To Evona, the boys, and the entire famiy, we love you!

Every one became better when coming in contact with "preacher".
We will talk about him for the rest of our days and see the impact he had on lives for eternity.

Through the fun and serious, we had the same respect and admiration for a man that truly showed Christ.

Dear Mrs Evona, boys, Mrs Kay and Cliff Senior plus rest of family,

We are so thankful to our Lord everyday of our lives that we were able to know Pastor Cliff and the example he set for us as our Pastor and our Friend. He was a one of kind man with so much compassion for people. He loved people and he loved his family more then life itself but he also loved his Saviour and now he is smiling at the feet of Jesus and rejoicing in his mansion and walking the streets of gold with Jesus. No words can describe how much we are sorry for the loss of the best man in this world. But one day soon we will see him again.

We love you all and are praying for you everyday!!

Dear Evona and boys,

While God's way is definitely perfect, it's not always easy to understand. His way will often conflict with what we just "know" is best.

Claim God's promise..."weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." No more tears, no sickness, no pain, no sorrow. What a Glorious Day That Will Be!!

May your sweet memories comfort you in the difficult days ahead. Please know you have been, and will continue to be in my prayers.

God's Blessings,

We know we will see Cliff in Heaven and we're looking forward to that great day.

Dear Mrs.Evona,Micah,Caleb,and Lucas,

There is no doubt that God has a reason in everything and that he has a reason in taking Bro. Cliff home so early. There can only be a great affect when such a Great man of God is taken from us. Still he will be sorely missed.

While I haven't been a member of Fellowship for some time the vision that he had for the church was so strong and his accomplishments there were and are great ones for The Lord! I am greatful to have known him, been preached to by him, to have prayed and even gone on visits with him. (I don't miss sitting in that back seat of his Geo Storm on those visits.)

The faith that both you, Cliff and your boys have shown over these past months are an inspiration and I look forward to the blessing of seeing your family reunited in heaven. Until then my families prayers are for your comfort and well being.

Cliff was my youth pastor growing up & always set a wonderful example to his teens.
At my Granny's (Eva Propper) funeral, he said so many sweet things & my Granny loved him dearly. I can only imagine the great times they are now sharing. My heart grieves for your loss but rejoices for Bro. Cliff's gain. I also lost my minister husband last year and understand your heartaces. You know he is better off but at the same time, it is so hard to give them up. I met Bro. Cliff at a Mother's Day Banquet at my mother's church, her name was Janie M. Lane,(now deceased), she loved him dearly, and although, I am of a different faith, I felt the love and anointing of God on his life and I thank God for ministers like him. Mrs. Evona, Michael, Caleb, Lucas, and the rest of the family,

We cannot even begin to express adequately how our hearts ache for you. Bro. Cliff was a wonderful pastor and set an example beyond measure of love for his family, his love for the Lord, and love for our church as well.

He was always there for us when he was needed for us in a variety of ways personally also.

I also thought yesterday how that he always wanted our choir to do so well, and now he is hearing the most beautiful of all choirs.

As much as our hearts feel emptiness now, I cannot imagine how you must be feeling. I wish we could ease the pain. But, please know we love you and are praying for you.

The testimony that Bro. Cliff lived as well as the testimony left in his death is unmatched.

There is so much I would love to tell you and let you know how much we care; but, I won't ramble on except to say that Bro. Cliff's homegoing is just one more reason to make us look forward to Heaven. What a joy to know we have accepted Christ as our Savior and will be reunited one day.

We love you,

Cliff was an inspiration to the Frink family and the world. His dedication to his family, his belief and his church was impecable. He will surely be missed here on earth but everyone knows where he is now. He is the right hand man of god and there has to be a reason that he was taken at such an early age. There is a reason for everything even though we do not see it. All I can say is Cliff we love you, we miss you, and we are so proud of you and we will all see you again someday as we all have to face our maker one day.
