Tipple, Dawn M.

of Plant City, formerly of Tampa, passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 65. Known for her warm spirit, unwavering kindness, and devotion to her family, friends, and animals, Dawn touched the lives of all who knew her. Born and raised in Tampa, Dawn was a graduate of Chamberlain High School. She later moved to Plant City, where she built a home surrounded by the animals she adored. A true animal lover, Dawn found her greatest joy in caring for her dogs and horses, and her compassion for all living creatures was a defining part of her life. Dawn was beloved not only by her family, but by an extended community of friends who admired her humor and loyalty. She will be remembered as someone with a great sense of humor who could light up a room with her laugh. Dawn shinedin her role at WFLA, where she served as Promotions Director. She also worked for several years in the ocean shipping industry. She is survived by her mother, Mary Lou Weiner; her sister, Jacqueline Hammeleff (Bent); her niece, Annalisa; her stepsister, Kathleen Fox, and her children, Lauren and Kevin; and her stepbrother, Eugene "Chip" Weiner. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a local animal rescue or humane society in Dawn's honor.
