MORMON, Demetrius J. "Rod" 35, of Tampa, passed on March 18, 2014. Home going celebration will be held on Wednesday, March 26, at 2 pm at Allen Temple A.M.E. Church, 2101 Lowe Street, Tampa, with Pastor, Rev. Dr. David Green Sr., officiating. Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Demetrius leaves to cherish loving memories of him with mother, Barbara Allen; 3 children, Destiny Keyshawn and Demetrius Mormon Jr; 4 step children, Rodney, Desiree, Riahannona and Deon; 3 sisters, Elizabeth Thompson (Cephus Wren), Tyna Thompson and Chevelle Thompson; 1 brother, Michael Thompson; 6 aunts, Carolyn Burgess-Govan (Russell) of West Palm Beach, Diane McCray of Gainesville, Wilma Randall (David), Cleo Mormon of Tampa, Dorothy and Verma; 4 uncles, Russell Mormon (Callie), Melvin Mormon, Don Mormon and Jerry Mormon; 3 nieces, Caro Nelson (Kenneth Nelson Sr.), Candace Gibson and Jerica Gibson; 6 nephews, DeRon Thompson, Jeremy Gibson (Gabrielle), Shannon Wilson, Dannon Wilson, Jamar Bethel and Jasper Simmons; 7 great-nieces, Kenyondra, Shae'la, De'Ronda, Zi'Andrea, Heaven, Kaylin, Edien; 5 great-nephews, Kenneth Jr., Keondre, Micah, Zayvion and Camerion; close friends, Reggie, Terry, Pamela and Ebony and a host of cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
