I carry Deron in my heart each and everyday. He was tireless and tenacious in his efforts to help me with my claim pertaining to my tour in Vietnam. All his hard work paid off for me in August of last year...the claim that he oversaw for me and which he accompanied me with to the BVA in Washington was granted. As I said before, never had I encountered a more generous and giving man... I hope he's enjoying the special place in heaven that was so deservingly reserved for him.

I just learned of Deron's passing today;it hurt a lot. Deron had been tirelessly assisting me with the VA since 2007; I'm a Vietnam Vet. Last September he accompanied me to Washington DC for a VA hearing;his health was failing; he needed a wheelchair, but there was no talking him out of it. This giving man has helped me more than anyone in my life. There is a very special place in Heaven for Deron.

Deron was a very special man. His life was helping veterans and their families. We wish we had known the date of his services. Deron was a Life member of the Daniel J Daly Marine Corps League. He is dearly missed. He helped veterans in several states.
