My sincere heartfelt sympathy to Devon's family and friends.
I am Joel and Nate's mother, Devon's and Courtney's roommates.
I so enjoyed the posts from the September trip to Japan with Devon, Joel and Courtney.
Although I did not have the pleasure of meeting Devon, I felt such extreme loss when I learned of Devon's sudden passing.
I understand that Devon was an incredible and engaging person who was a great friend and maximized those around him.
Devon was a blessing to my sons and I know the high regard in which they held him and the great friendship that he freely extended.
Devon was such a blessing to so many on this earth.
I just want to express my sympathy on the loss of talented, gifted and giving Devon.

Devon, I'm so proud to know you. I remember back to our Anytown days you were such a fun peaceful inspiring guy. As we got older I lived thru you and your vacations. I sat on the sidelines watching proud of you every step of your professional accomplishments. When I had a hard times you came in always with a kind word. I'll never forget back when you were in high school you asked me to write a recommendation for you for a class or scholarship, it was my pleasure still to this day. We just lost a piece of kindness and love when we lost you. #Livelikedevon. love you always buddy! Renae N.

Devon Grimme was without a doubt one of the best human beings I have had the good fortune to meet. He was the definition of a friend - loyal, dependable, generous, kind and hilariously funny. He was the kind of friend who would show up in the middle of the night if you needed him, smile on his face. One never had to guess how Devon felt about those he loved, because he told them, daily. He had amazing and varied taste in music and loved to go to concerts. His genius, potential and ambition were limitless, as evidenced by his myriad accomplishments in his short time on this Earth.

My sincere condolences and love to Laura, Steve, Cameron & Courtney, his extended family, friends and all who had the honor to know Devon.

I will love him and miss him forever.

My sincerest condolences to the Grimme Family. May the God of all comfort (Psalms 83:18) help you during these difficult times.
