To the Lamar Family, Daughters Ebony, Sharmae, Nicole and Brothers, Melvin, Clemon ( Lil John), Kelvin and Milton (Milt), you have our deepest sympathies on the passing of your Father and Brother. We grew up with Donald, and spent many times together with his High School buddies, Ernest and Rick, as we knew him by his nickname of "DUCK". He always spoke about how proud he was of his Daughters and their accomplishments. He always remained as a humble person, even in high school, he was a star football player, at Northeast High School, who never bragged to me,,,,,,,,, even after out running me for a touchdown during our competition in football games at Gibbs and Dixie Hollins High School. He Enjoyed Life and always greeted you with a smile. He ran a good race and GOD called him home. To the Family , Be strong in the LORD, he will bring you comfort in your time of Bereavement.

My condolences to the Lamar Family. To his Daughters, his Brothers, and other close relatives. And friends . Donald, who we affectionately nicknamed "Duck" was well know for his early athletic abilities . As a 10th grader at Northeast High School, his running skills while playing football were so impressive that the coaches moved him up to the varsity team as a starter. I can remember chasing him around on the field as I played defensive back for Dixie Hollins ... he was one of the best ... he never bragged about his accomplishments and always remained humble after making touchdowns. He ran his race and GOD called him home . Family be Strong in the Lord ! GOD BLESS! He will be missed .
