Edith B. McMullen

McMULLEN, Edith B. Edith passed away Saturday July 10, 2010 in Roseville, CA. She was born in Clearwater, on Feb. 6, 1927 making her 83. She was a school teacher at Skycrest elementary for a couple of years, and then went to Japan and Germany to teach. Then to California for the past 35 years, where she taught school and retired. Edith graduated from Clearwater High School and Montreat College in North Carolina. Edith was preceded in death by her father and mother, Hugh and Jessie; and two sisters, Betty Blackburn and Jessie Flemings. Her grandparents, were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Grant, and Bert McMullen. She is survived by her good friend, Suzanne Poulos; and sister, Nancy (Karl) Flammer. Also several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, July 19, 2010 from 1011 am with a service at 11 am at Sylvan Abbey, with interment following at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park. www.sylvanabbey.com
