Edward VANDENBERGHE Obituary
72, passed away June 5, 2018 in the VA Hospice. He was a lifelong resident of Tampa. Ed was an essential part of the family owned Vandenberg Airport, presently known as Tampa Executive Airport. After serving in the U.S. Army, in Germany, his life focused on aviation. Ed taught hundreds of students to fly. Ed is survived by his sister, Joanne NeSmith (Jack) of Mango, and his brother, Dr. James Vandenberghe (Judy) of Palm Beach Gardens, along with six nieces and two nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Tampa First Seventh Day Adventist Church 822 W. Linebaugh Avenue, Tampa Florida June 10, 2018 at 2 pm. He will be inurned and placed to rest at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
