Elizabeth BARFORD Obituary

BARFORD, Elizabeth Tristam "Tristy", 41, of Temple Terrace, died instantly in a car accident on Sunday evening, March 24, 2013 in Tampa. Tristy was born in St. Petersburg and raised in Temple Terrace. She was a 1989, graduate of Tampa Bay Vo-Tech High School in Tampa and attended Lamar College in Colorado. Tristy was a hard working sales professional who had a love of animals, especially horses. She was an excellent marksman with her pistol and had dreams of doing mission work in Cuba. Tristy was a loving daughter and sister, dedicated to her family. She was a true friend to many who remember her as having the biggest, brightest smile and she was happiest outdoors, hiking, riding her bike, or enjoying the beach. Her light continues to shine bright in the memories of all who were fortunate enough to know and love her. She is survived by her brothers, Andy (Jeanne), Adam (Andrea); and her parents, Fran and George Barford. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Tristy's memory to the Humane Society of Manatee County, 2515 14th Street West, Bradenton, FL 34205 www.humanemanatee.org.
