Ernest Fede Obituary

FEDE, Ernest Sr. 94, passed away peacefully March 23, 2023, with family by his side. Ernie went to his heavenly home to meet his wife, Maryanne Fede; and daughter, Josie Crevello, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his sons, Vincent and Ernest Fede Jr.; grandson, Anthony Crevello Jr.; he is also survived by his sister, Elvira Scusses; niece, Adrenne Scusses, and life partner, Annette Whitaker; and nephews, Gene and James Cipriano. Ernie moved to St. Petersburg from East Haven, Connecticut, where he owned East Haven Auto Body. Here in St. Pete, he worked maintenance at St. Jude's Cathedral. He was also a veteran of the Korean War and a member of American Legion Post 305. Ernie was a great family man who will be forever in their thoughts and prayers. Heaven has gained another angel. Wake service will be at Brett Funeral Home Thursday, March 30, from 5-7 pm. There will be Mass held at the Cathedral of St. Jude on Friday, March 31, at 1 pm, followed by burial at Royal Palm Cemetery. Guestbook at www.brettfuneralhome.net.
