Esther Marie "Maga" TOSCANO

1926 - 2018

"Maga" 91, of Largo, FL, gained her angel wings on August 8, 2018, at Princeton Village of Largo peacefully in her sleep. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elio Toscano, parents, Homer and Anna Scanlon, and siblings, Dorothy Mitchell and Norman Scanlon. Esther is survived by her five children, Nadine (Wayne) Harper, Nanette Toscano, Dan (Kay) Toscano, Tony Toscano, and Gina (Ron) Toscano; five grandchildren, Lisa, Kristy, Eliot, Stacy and Malory; and two great-grandchildren, Bradley and Logan. Esther was a very independent, caring, generous woman who loved to laugh, care for children and animals, and spend time with her family. She loved music, shopping and anything that sparkled. She was the first to welcome you with generous compliments, the comforts of sweets, and a warm hug. She loved children and they were equally delighted by her. Her beautiful smile and graceful spirit will be remembered by all who knew her. Esther's funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, August 12, with a gathering held one hour prior at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd., Clearwater, FL 33759.
