Fern Scanzelli Obituary

Scanzelli, Fern Mae

"Mimi" to most, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025. Born in Allentown, PA, she spent the majority of her life surrounded by Florida sunshine. Fern lived a life full of joy, generosity, and adventure. Her kindness, radiant smile, and infectious laugh could light up any room. A passionate traveler, Fern visited 123 countries and 49 U.S. states, embracing every opportunity to experience the world and live life to its fullest. She loved dancing, trivia, and most of all, spending time with her beloved family, dear friends, and her church community. Fern is survived by her devoted husband, Paul E. Roberts; her daughter, Kathy (Willard) Kindt; grandchildren, Kris, Melissa, Jason, Andrew and Margarita Kindt; and great-grandchildren Marisa, Noah, Gabby, Roland, and Alex Kindt. She is also survived by her brother, Edward (Peggy); and her sister, Sue. She was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Kline; and her sister, Mary. A celebration of Fern's life will be held on October 18, 2025, at New Hope Baptist Church in Parrish, Florida. In lieu of flowers, Fern's wish was for donations to be made to The Salvation Army, an organization close to her heart.
