Florence "Isabel" Steele

STEELE, Florence "Isabel," 93, passed away April 11, 2006. She was predeceased by her husband, George, and son, Bob. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Ruth Silbiger, and son-in-law, Martin; grandchildren, David and Cindy Steele, Laurie Pursel, Drew Steele, Martin Silbiger Jr., Eve and Kevin Conolly, Jonathan and Krista Silbiger, Holly and David Frielinghaus, and Wendy and Ben Guzzle; and great-grandchildren, Andrew, Parker, Sammy, Casey, Marty, Katie, Max, Jonathan Jr., Danielle, Michelle, Brendan and Hope. She spent the last decade of her life surrounded by wonderful friends and caring staff members at John Knox Village. She loved to sew and shop, but was known for the hundreds of cakes she made for family and friends. A memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at the Crystal Dining Room at John Knox Village. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Home. Marsicano - B.
