Frances B. CONNOR

CONNOR, Frances B. age 92, retu-rned to the Lord May 30, 2014, in Tarpon Spri-ngs. She was born in Staten Island, NY, to Antoinette and Peter Lore and remained a resident of New York until 1956, when she took up permanent residence in Lake Ho-patcong, NJ. She was married to Joseph Connor for 34 years until he returned to the Lord in 1974, they raised three children, Joseph (predeceased), Karen Molloy of Holiday, and Edward Connor (Linda) of Middleville, NJ. She was the matriarch for 3 children; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandc-hildren; and her longstanding companion & friend, Salvatore Caporaso. Many people remember her fondly from her 10 years in office as tax collector for Hopatcong, NJ. She was also widely known as a world traveler and adventuress as owner operator of Dynamic Tours and VIP Tours of Holiday. She had the opportunity to escort travel groups worldwide including some of the first guided trips into China. Among her great loves were cooking for her entire family, participation in her church including being a Eucharistic minister, baking from scratch pies, and dancing, joke-telling, entertaining, and singing. The lives of those who knew and loved her were enriched by her presence and she will be sorely missed until our souls reunite.
