I was just thinking about Dr. Diamond and how important he was in my son's journey with Type 1 Diabetes. Not only was he a phenomenal doctor, but he was also a kind-hearted and wonderful human being. He will always be in our hearts; and we're eternally grateful for all he did - not only for our son - but to all! The world was definitely a much better place with him here.

My deepest sympathy to all of Dr. Diamond's family. I feel fortunate to have worked with him in Pediatric Endocrinology at All Children's Hospital as a RN. He provided excellent care to the precious patients he served. We shared lunches and laughs. He was a great conversationalist and I remember how his face would light up when he spoke of his wife and children, Ben and Sarah. He was a champion for children in his medical profession and with his involvement in the Juvenile Welfare Board. He will be missed by all who knew him. Prayers for peace and comfort to the family.

Frank was my friend and colleague for 30+ years. He was also one of my very favorite mentors during my medical training at the University of South Florida College of medicine, more than 30 years ago. Physicians today looking for someone to emulate should take the life of Frank as an example. He cared for his family and his patients and had passion for all human beings. I love him and I will miss him.
