Fred Cullaro Obituary

Cullaro, Fred

Tampa native, Fred Cullaro passed away on May 7, 2025, at St. Joseph's Hospital after an extended illness. He was 73. He was predeceased by his mother, Martha Cullaro, and his father, Edward Cullaro.

Fred was the road manager for Barry Manilow, The Outlaws, and The Manhattan Transfer for many years, traveling the world throughout his career.

After retiring from the road, he worked at the post office, where he met his wife, Jamie. Together, they had a daughter, Estelle.

Fred graduated from Hillsborough Community College after attending Leto High School. He was a fan of short shorts and Speedos-despite our pleas otherwise. He loved the Buccaneers, and was a longtime season ticket holder.

He is survived by his lovely wife, Jamie Cullaro, and their daughter, Estelle Cullaro. He was affectionately known as "Lalo" by his grandchildren, Jackson, Olivia, Grace, Adalei, Emerson, and Layton. He is also survived by his stepdaughters, Jamie Hawkins and Shelby Sanchez; his brother, Eddie Cullaro; his nephew, Nick Cullaro; and extended family in Georgia.

He was grateful for the lifelong friendship of Ronnie Ripple and Mike Lack, along with many other coworkers and friends he made through the years.

The family would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses at St. Joseph's Hospital who took such good care of him.

He will be greatly missed.
