Truman Roosevelt Riffle

TRUMAN ROOSEVELT RIFFLE, 80 of Webster Springs, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Mon General Medical Center. He was born May 8, 1945 to the late Raymond Manual and Viola Davisson Riffle.
He worked for Medina Supply in Medina, OH for 391/2 years. Truman came back home to West Virginia in 2007. He loved to hunt, fish, take care of his chickens and to take walks and pick up cans. He also didn't know a stranger and would dance with any woman that would dance back. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family, his dog, Sassy and going to Vickie's Restaurant.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carolyn Riffle; brothers, Marvin, Raymond and Thomas Riffle; and two nephews and a niece.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Ellen (William) Morrison of Webster Springs, Mary (Randal) Williams of Wooster, OH and Kathy Riffle of Webster Springs; grandchildren, Nicole Riffle (Brandon Harris), Randal (Grant) Williams both of Wooster, OH, Truman (Melinda) Morrison of Cowen, Julianna Cogar of Webster Springs; also many great grandchildren, his sisters, a brother and many nieces and nephews.
Service will be 1 p.m., Friday, September 12, 2025 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs with Pastor Doy Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Woods Cemetery, Kingfisher Rd, Webster Springs. Friends may join the family for visitation 12 Noon until service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers Truman would appreciate donations to an organization that was very special to him, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
