Mr. Joiner was a dear friend and colleague for over 40 years.
Gary was devoted to helping people and never could say no.
He enjoyed fishing/hunting and most of all having barbecue with his friends and others. He loved to barbecue!

My heart was greatly saddened to hear of the recent passing of Gary. I have many appreciative thoughts and wonderful memories after working with him for twenty seven years in the Florida Department of Agriculture. Gary was the quintessential Chef, pit master and caterer and he generously prepared and provided many delicious feasts at many of our meetings and celebratory gatherings. His positive and passionate work ethic, generosity and willingness to share and serve is a legacy that will live on in our hearts and minds. My deepest condolences and may God bless and comfort his family in this time of sorrow.
