George W. Colson

COLSON, George W., 76, of Spring Hill, Fla., died Tuesday, August 7, 2007. He was a native of Grand Rapids, Mich., and a resident of this area for the past 18 years, coming from Rockford, Mich. George proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Arlene; one son, Mark (Beth) Colson of Cape Coral, Fla.; two daughters, Laura (Stephen) Wood of Comstock Park, Mich., Debra (Paul) Sygiyama of Ada, Mich.; two sisters, Maxine Colby of White Cloud, Mich., Wilda Stark of Greenville, Mich.; and 11 grandchildren. A memorial service to honor Mr. Colson' s life will be conducted for family members with the Marine Corps League 708 officiating. Inurnment will take place at Florida National Cemetery.
