Glenn Sudbury Obituary
78, of Tampa, passed away August 21, 2025. Born May 1, 1947, in Natick, MA, he practiced optometry in Tampa for 50 years and was active in many professional and charitable organizations. He is survived by wife, Melody; daughters, Charmel (Brian) Dodd and Joyelle (Bo) Blount; and grandchildren, Kendra, Braylen, Elle, and Becket and Glenn's sister, Pauline Stotsenberg. Visitation is Monday, September 1, 4 to 7 pm at Blount & Curry Life Event Center, 605 S. MacDill Avenue, with a celebration of memories beginning at 6:15 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 2, at 10 am at Christ the King Catholic Church, with family visitation beginning at 9 am. Following the Mass, an entombment will take place at 12 pm at Garden of Memories in Tampa. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Judeo-Christian Health Clinic.
