Gordon HORST Obituary
92, of Timber Pines, Spring Hill, passed on Dec. 28, 2015. He was born in Orrville, OH and graduated with a BS from Miami University, OH. Ben was a WWII Army veteran, retired as Vice President from Citizens Savings, an avid golfer, and 19 year member with the Timber Tones. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Wendy Ernsberger and two brothers, Ralph and Robert. Ben is survived by his loving wife, Eloise; three daughters, Barbara (Jim) Marazza, Bonnie (Carl) Kolling, Carol (Jim) Turgeon; three grandchildren, Chip (Katherine) Kolling, Jeff (Amber) Tharp, Karin (Corey) Stewart; four great-grandchildren, Trinity, Mykayla, Leland, and Carol. He also leaves his brother, James. Ben passed with his family around him on his 69th wedding anniversary. We are certain that he was greeted by his granddaughter, Wendy. There will be a Celebration of Life Jan. 16, at 2 pm, Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Spring Hill. He will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to Holy Cross Lutheran Church will be appreciated.
