Heather Scott Obituary

Scott, Heather Ann "Annie"

of Clearwater, my soul-mate, passed September 24, 2025. We shared 50 years of good, bad and great. Two families came together in 1975 with two children each - not stepchildren - four loving brothers and sisters. Heather was born in Covington, KY to Edward Horn and Ruth Thoroughman. She moved to Clearwater in 1974 and continued her career as an EEG Tech for Dr. Michael Andriola, then Dr. Tom Harrison. She retired in 2007. She was past president of the Ladies Auxilary at the Clearwater Eagles and the Dunedin Elks, as well as a member of the AmVets. She loved her garden, her church, and traveling - Alaska, Europe, and the UK searching her Scottish ancestry (her mother's family, the Irvines, had three castles). She had red hair, "'cause God knew she needed a warning lable." Silly, but not true. She died as she lived, everyone's friend! God, I miss her. She is survived by husband, Bill; daughters, Jackie Grimes (Chris), Tracy Morrow (Sam); and son, Raymond Scott. She is predeceased by son, Kenneth Scott; brother, Terry Horn (Romana); and nephew, Terry Horn Jr., of Louisville, KY; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be at St. Cecelia Church, Thursday, Oct. 23 at 10:30 am; a Celebration of Life will be announced later.
