I've just read all these wonderful words from so many people - I have also loved Jimmy and Betty, and Tony and Little Jimmy and Amanda - so many many memories - especially the years building and enjoying the log cabin, and even getting married at the Armenia restaurant. I'd always planned to come to the Bryson City restaurant, so hopefully one day I will - it was wonderful to see all of you guys, and we are all better for knowing you. Much love to Betty, Tony, Jimmy and Amanda.

Dear Betty, It's been almost two decades and I still remember the good times we all had and how much I enjoyed my brief couple of years working and hanging out with Jimmy. I do think of him often and very saddened to hear of his passing. Emily told me this past weekend and I simply want to send you and the kids our condolences. I'll keep Jimmy and all the McNorrills in my daily reflections. I wish you all peace during this trying time. All the best Jeffrey Wiegel, East Hampton,NY.

From the days of Plant High, and the many times I spent eating and socializing at Jimmy's restaurants, to just a couple years ago while in Bryson City, I could not believe that here in this little town in the mountains, there before my eyes was a sign hanging over an eatery that said "Jimmy Mac's", and there was Jimmy opening up his restaurant. I very much enjoyed the time Jimmy and I got to share that morning talking and laughing about the past. My prayers go out to Jimmy's family as these are the times that only family,friends and faith can help in the process of healing from such a tragic loss.

A true gentleman & friend who had a visionary about Bogart's & Jimmy Mac's way before it's time & was a wonderful boss & host & married a great girl who I was lucky to work with & know Debbie & Linda. By far, the best boss I ever had the pleasure of working under. I loved his sense of humor and witty personality. His smile was contagious and his demeanor was so sweet. We loved watching Fox News during the slow times at Jimmy Mac's and talking politics. I have nothing but fond memories of "big Jimmy" and the rest of this sweet family. Prayers and love to you all.

Not only an influential contributor to great times in south Tampa, but a close family friend. We had so many good times together, our kids grew up together so we hung out together a lot. Kindest, most gentle man, & very creative with the best burgers in town!
