Uncle Eddie - this world will be a sadder place without you. You will be missed. I remember all the family reunions we used to have. You have raised such a kind and loving family. I am proud that you were my Uncle and my Mom's baby brother. Until we meet in Heaven. XOX

Hey Pop-pops,
I just wanted to say Hi' and that I miss you so much already.
What Grandpa meant to me is pretty much impossible to put into words but here is my best shot.
Grandpa placed all of his effort in all the right places. He was a perfect example of how much joy can be received by putting others before himself. I could not have asked for a better role model to show me the importance of family in a time where it is easy to lose sight of what is truly important.
It was evident Grandpa truly cared with everything that he did. Whether it be, his insistence that we call him when we got home, so he knew we made it home safe or a happy voicemail / call wondering about the weather, all the way to making sure we had socks on at his house when we were little because the tile was too cold, everything he did was powered by love and I cannot explain how much he will be missed.
Grandpa was the man to always have a smile on his face when meeting you on the front porch. He then would always offer up a handshake, that rightfully tuned into a hug. He made some of the best sweet tea and sandwiches. And to this day, some of my happiest moments are sitting on Grandpa and Grandma's back porch, after working in the yard, with some of Grandpa's freshly made sweet tea. Grandpa had a way about him that was quirky yet sincere. Grandpa's use of the words sandmich', winder', out-yonder', and my favorite hot-doggie' to show excitement will always be some of my fondest memories of him. Grandpa was a man of high character and to this day, I can't recall Grandpa ever using foul language or even really saying something negative about anyone ever.
The type of man Grandpa was, is hard to come by and it because of all this I am sure he is in heaven right now smiling. I am sad to see Grandpa go, but will be forever grateful of everything he taught me along the way and I know I am a better person because of him.
Grandpa, I will miss you dearly, but I know, I have now gained another guardian angel looking out for me and guiding my path along the way.

Love,
Scotty (Scotty-boy)

Dad, Pops, Pop-po, Pop-Pops you were the best father a boy/man could ever wish for. You Loved unconditionally, you were always there for me, during good times and bad, guiding my way. You were a shining example of how to live a life for "Others" always putting us before yourself and always with a smile. The look of pride when ever you talked about or were with family, Mom, your kids, grand-kids and Great grand-kids. You have surely left a legacy for us all to share.

THE WORLD IS A MORE BEAUTIFUL PLACE BECAUSE OF YOU!

You are Peace with the Lord!

Love ya Pops,
Jimmy

Pa-Pa

I am so broken hearted. Thank you for such a great visit Wednesday. If I knew that was the last time I wouldn't have left. I will hold onto that day and every other memory with you. Friday Corbin walked up to your chair on the porch calling for you. I just keep telling him you are in heaven watching over us. I love you so much and will always miss you. Your granddaughter forever.
