Jane RAU Obituary

RAU, Jane Kathryn Skibicki died May 3, 2022. Jane was a resident of St. Petersburg, FL. She is survived by her husband, Andrew Rau; her parents, Janet and Victor Skibicki; and her brother, Samuel. Jane was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Safety Harbor, where she and her brother, Sam were acolytes. She also taught Sunday School there. Jane graduated from Countryside High School in 2004 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of North Florida in 2009. She was then certified as a teacher. Jane was a a third grade teacher at Walsingham, Maximo and Skyview Elementary Schools. Students and co-workers adored her and she loved them back. Jane was beautiful inside and out and had a wonderful sense of humor, and she loved and respected others. She also loved cats. She has numerous friends and family who are heartbroken and miss her every day. Jane has a close family with many cousins, and Godparents; aunt, Linda Maschek; and uncle, Joe Maschek, from Chicago, IL. Celebration of her Life shall be held on May 28, 2022 at 2 pm at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Safety Harbor, where she will be interred on Church grounds. Donations may be made in Jane's name to the Church of the Holy Spirit, and to a local animal shelter.

Jane, Bubba, my universe, my everything... My favorite thing... I will find you again. Just like we always do. I don't care when, I don't know how, but we will always find our true love. You found me this time, next time it's on me! I love you so much!!
