Janet Elaine, Janet, "Jan", "Mom", My Mother...
Mom was all things to me, a Mother, a teacher, a councelor, and most of all, my best friend.
We did a lot together, camped, hiked, walked dogs, and built a home with values that we shared.
We also went through a lot tough things together, things that were not quite so enjoyable, injuries, health and sickness and a fire that almost killed me and destroyed everything that I owned, except Mom, but it was all a learning experience. You see I learned an awful lot from her, how to be strong, and I think that it made a better person.
Mom you will always be with me, every day all day long.
I wish you "gods speed" on your journey up "the stairway to Heaven" to reunite with Dad and I know that we will meet again some day ... I feel it. Until then, you are in Gods hands.
Godbye Janet Elaine ...
Your only son.
Luv,
Ken

You were a wonderful mother-in-law and I am so happy we remained good friends over the years. I have so many wonderful memories, which I will hold dear to my heart. Having just lost my Mom in February, I’m sure she has given you the grand tour, and the two of you are enjoying reminiscing in Heaven!
Love you!
