Ragano, Joe Jr.

90, passed away Sept. 2, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mary Ragano; his brother, Tony; and the love of his life, Lily (Cusmano) Ragano to whom he was married for 62 years. A lifelong resident of Tampa, he graduated from Plant High School; served in the U.S. Army; and was co-owner of Southern Tire Co with his brother, Tony prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion. He is survived by his children, Gil Granda III, Rochelle Ragano-Valdez, and Lisa Ragano; grandchildren, Gil Granda IV, Joey Rodriguez, Ryan Granda, and Santino Ragano Valdez; great-granddaughter, Alina Rodriguez, and many nieces and nephews who loved him very much. Joe lived life to the fullest and his greatest joy in life was to give to his children and grandchildren. He was a wonderful father and grandfather, and he will be missed dearly. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11 from 2-5 pm at Boza & Roel Funeral Home.
