John Macon Jr.

MACON, John Charles Jr. a beloved son, father, brother and friend, died on Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at the age of 38. John lived an active life in his community of Lithia. He enjoyed mountain biking, reading, writing poetry, sports and spending time with his many friends at Park Square Cellar. His life was lived serving others, bringing smiles and warmth to everyone around him. John was survived by three children, Garrison Macon, Chloe Macon, and Jackson Macon; his father, Dr. John Charles Macon Sr.; mother, Faye Macon; two sisters, April Geis (Craig) and Angel Adkins (Chris), and a host of family and friends who loved him very much. The funeral will be held Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at 11 am at Serenity Meadows Memorial Funeral Home, with visitation starting at 9 am.
