John was a tremendous person and always kind to everyone. I called on John when he was at Albertsons. He always liked to talk about coaching his daughters softball team. A tremendous family man and friend to all of us.

John, I loved the kindness I knew I would always see in your face, the laughter I knew I would hear, the encouragement if I needed it, and the wisdom of years of living kindly and joyously. And then I loved watching David get to know the same things about you. Your love for our family meant a lot to me and I will miss you so very much.

John - the first thought in my mind when hearing that you had gone to be with God was that you are really going to missed. You had a strong faith and always had the right thing to say it whether it was something sad or something that would make everyone laugh. It has been priceless knowing you and the unique person you were.
