Jose CANDIA Obituary

CANDIA, Jose, born in Galicia, Spain and a 41 year Tampa resident, passed away on March 18, 2012 at the age of 83. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Felicia Candia; a son Jose Raul Candia and wife Lillian; a daughter Maria Jose Candia Iglesias and husband Moises Martinez Rodriguez; three grand-children, Jessica Isabel Candia, Adam Jose Candia and Moises (Sito) Martinez Candia; a brother Jose Ramon Candia and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Before retiring, Jose worked as a waiter at the Spanish Park and Valencia Gardens Restaurants. He was a devoted family man and friend, who always put the interests of others ahead of his own. A caring man who has left a void in our lives and hearts that will never be filled. He was our rock and the one we could always count on in our times of need. Rest in Peace "Papi".. We love you "nuestro Viejito" The family will receive friends for Visitation Wednesday, March 21, 2012 between 6 and 8 PM at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 North Armenia Avenue, Tampa. Services will be Thursday, March 22 at 10 AM at the funeral home, followed by Entombment at Garden of Memories Cemetery
