Joyce Ann Hillier VanLuven

VanLUVEN, Joyce Ann Hillier, 77, passed away May 11, 2009, in Brandon, Fla. Our lives will seem emptier without her around. She was born in Sault Saint Marie, Mich., May 24, 1931, to Howard and Dorothy Hillier of Dafter, Mich. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Albert VanLuven. She is survived by sons, Joel VanLuven of Orlando, Fla., and Michael VanLuven of Peoria, Ill.; and one daughter, Theresa VanLuven of Valrico, Fla. She is also survived by three brothers, Dale Hillier of Harvey, Mich., Andrew Hillier of Spring Hill, Fla., and Kenneth Hillier of St. Petersbug, Fla.; and two sisters, Carole Ward of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Judy Lesatz of East Tawas, Mich. As per her wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes will be scattered at sea at the same coordinates as her late husband.
