Dear Mr. and Mrs. Yale,
I know this is a bit late, but I just wanted say that Katie was so precious. She had the warmest smile, and it just drew you in. She had the lamest jokes that would result in all of us laughing hysterically. If it wasn't for Katie, I would not have a relationship with our Lord and Savior. She helped me through some things in middle school when she was my "big sister". She'd always write me letters like two pages long encouraging me. She gave me index cards with verses to help me in my predicaments. The most special thing about Katie was that she cared. She would always listen and pray over me. She would ask the Lord to provide me with strength and draw me close to Him. She didn't only so this with me though. That was the special part- she prayed for and cared about everyone. I can not express how much how grateful I am to of known her. I just thought you should know that. I hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas.

Daddy misses you but I know that God has a divine reason for taking you. I am and have always been so proud of you. Because of your testimony and who you were, you will be receiving awards in heaven for many years to come. I love you Katie Diane. I will see you soon baby.

Dear Doug, Karen and family; This will be the worst days of your life, but God will help you thru it. Many are praying for you and lifting you up to the lord. I remember Katie as the bright young girl in Awanas that worked so hard on her memory verses. She loved the Lord and He loved her and loves her still. She is in His arms. Her testimony to many will draw them to God, and perhaps some will even come to know Him because of her. May God be with you and comfort you in your time of grief. We'll be praying for you. I am so blessed by the way you have glorified the Lord with your faith and peace in the midst of your mourning. Our prayers for you are for the long term- on those days when you miss her so bad you feel like you can't move forward.
