Ken Proctor Obituary

Proctor, Ken

passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025 at 66 years of age with his true love of 43 years, Sandy, holding his hand, just as she had for so many of life's adventures. Ken and Sandy retired to St. Petersburg, FL in 2014, where they enjoyed sunny winters and cherished new friends. He felt fortunate to be able to travel back and forth to their cabin in Maine for many peaceful summers with old friends. Many thanks to his good friend, Tracy, for showing him the benefits of becoming a traveler instead of a tourist. Ken faced metastatic breast cancer with the same strength, humor, and pragmatism that he carried through life. At his request, there will be no services. Ken asks instead that people raise a glass to his memory, if inclined, and perhaps consider contributing to a charity that will help improve the lives of people everywhere.

Ken was a beautiful person. As a life companion, he was full of so many creative adventures conceived with Sandy. There was so much love in their home! There were so many times together-exciting summer visits to their lake house in Maine and their seaside home in Florida. So many memories, joy and laughter love you, Sandy.
