Kenneth Hicklin Obituary

HICKLIN, Kenneth L., 59, passed away October 6, 2007, at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, Fla. Ken' s primary goal in life was to provide care for his parents. Shortly after their move from Tampa to Fort Walton Beach, Ken joined them in 1981. He met his longtime friend, Bucky Canfield, and created his business of Hicklin Drywall. He is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia; father, Woody; and childhood friends, Lee Ball and Lynn Swilley of Tampa. Survivors include many cousins of the Chubb family and a wealth of friends located in Tampa. Ken graduated from Chamberlin High School in 1965 and served in the Vietnam War in 1969. The N. Rome Ave gang will hold a celebration of life at 2 p.m. November 10, 2007, hosted by Rick and Ella Ferguson at their home in Tampa. Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
