I was so sad to see of Ken´s passing. I still think of him often. During my high school years at the Haddonfield Presby Church, friends would gather at "The House" after school and Friday nights. Ken was the leader that everyone looked up to. He was such an inspiration in my life. We would joke together, but he also helped me through some personal issues. What a great man he was. Rest in peace, my friend.

I know Ken from the hobby shoppe in bath Maine, and his visits to the Bath Maine post office. He always had a happy anecdote, and spoke of their work on Sequin Island in Maine. He will be truely missed in this side...and Mike and I give a big hug to Cynthia. Love to the family as well. Fly high dear friend.

Ken was the best. I knew him in the 1970s when he was at the Presbyterian Church in Haddonfield and I worked with him in connection with the operation of the Open Door house. He was always ready to help you, and he never spoke down to teenagers, but instead actually engaged in substantive discussions with them and respected their opinions. Even then we knew him as Ken Young -- a lot different than the Catholic church that my family attended.

What an incredible, kind man. Ken was our youth minister when he was at the Haddonfield church, and was exceptionally gifted at connecting with teenagers. He has often been in my thoughts when I think back on that period of my life. He touched so many lives in such a positive way. My condolences to Mrs Young and the rest of Ken´s family.

I was prepared for membership in the Haddonfield Presbyterian Church by Ken in 1972. It was a one on one class - just me and him. He was a wonderful man. Rest in peace.

He was our youth pastor when I was growing up. He was just the most wonderful listener - someone who I felt truly connected to. And that´s saying something when you´re a teen! Much love to Mrs Young and his children. I was so blessed to have known him.

In the 1960s we the Nelson family loved on the same street as the Youngs in Haddonfield NJ. We both moved in the same year and were in a groumet group together. What a time we had.
One time the husbands decided they'd cook the meal. What a funny memory, lobster with Spaghetti and Ken made dessert. We had a steamed pears with gorganza cheese. And he made a cake just incase it didn't go well.
Ken was also known for his Fig pudding on the holidays. Something we all enjoyed. We have shared many good memories over the years. I'm sure Ken was welcomed home to Heaven with open arms by our God.

One time the husbands decided they would cook the meal. What a funny memory! The Spaghetti had to much garlic and we had that with lobster. Ken did the dessert, steamed pears and gorgonzola cheese. He also made a cake just incase. Yummy!
Ken was also known for his gig pudding around the holidays. We have shared many good times with together. I'm sure Ken was welcomed home with open arms by our God.

My favorite memory is when Mr. Young took Elizabeth and I out on the boat in Maine and we went fishing for flounder. The flounder we caught was amazing.
