Kyle COLLINS Obituary

COLLINS, Kyle Malone Jr.

57, passed away October 2, 2017 at Tampa General Hospital, after a long battle with lung disease. He was born at this same hospital on April 14, 1960 and was a true Tampa guy. He loved the water and reveled in his good fortune to live here. Kyle is preceded in death by his parents, Kyle Sr., and Katrine Collins. He is survived by his loving wife, Pam; and son, Cody Kinsaul Collins. Also left to mourn are his sisters, Karyl Pellegrino, Kathy Shackowsky, Ann Flatau and Cindy Collins, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. A celebration of Kyle's Life will be held on Saturday, October 7th from 11 am to 1 pm at Brewer & Sons Funeral Home

3328 South Dale Mabry Hwy. The family extends thier gratitude for the support and family, friends and staff at Tampa General Hospital.

After thinking of old friends from Bayshore Methodist I decided to try in get in touch with Kyle yesterday sadly to find out I missed the chance. For some reason I always thought and remembered Kyle over the last 40 years as if it were yesterday we last hung out. We once with a couple other friends went to the all niter at the Tower Drive-inn for .99 cent in his green Nova i can still see so clearly in my memories. He would sign my yearbook that year saying "rember the .99 center. We were the first two kids to ride our motorcycles to school at Bayshore and would ride trails on weekends. We played all sports Bayshore had to offer back then together and I can still see his bigger than life smile he had. Such a clean, honest, decent friend. I pray that we will give praise and worship to the Lord together and catch up in heaven. I will miss him. My prayers are with his family and I pray that your grief is short. God bless, David Hamlet.

Dear Pam and Cody, so sorry to hear of Kyle's passing. Matt just informed us this morning. We would have liked to have been at the service yesterday. We will always have fond memories of the boys growing up together. God Bless you, Love Carl, Sandy, Matt and Kevin Rhoda.

I've fished all my life but mostly from a boat. Kyle taught me about wade fishing around the Bay Area, and I was later able to share that with my nephews. Lots of great memories, and though it's been quite awhile since our fishing days, he will be sorely missed. I'm so sorry for you loss.
