GRUBER, Larry Dean

74, of The Villages, FL, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 23, 2018. Born in Steubenville, OH, he was the son of the late Lester Dean Gruber and Carrie Marie (Snyder) Gruber. Larry was an Air Force veteran where he received his electrical training. He retired from Borrell Electric of Tampa, FL after 35 plus years as a Master Electrician.Besides his parents, Larry was predeceased by his son, Jeff Gruber. He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Gonzalez) Gruber; his sons, Doug Gruber and grandchildren, Marcus and Michael; Jason Gruber and grandchild, Jace; daughter-in-law, Tina Gruber and grandchildren, Alecia and Dylan; his sisters, Nancy Cadile and her children, Linda, Sam, and Annette; Judy Gruber; his brother, Jim Gruber and wife, Lisa; and many dear friends too numerous to list.

Larry was a kind, generous, and knowledgeable man who never said an unkind word to anyone. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A Celebration of Larry's Life will be held at 1 pm, on Thursday, March 29 at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral & Cremation Life Event Center, 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, The Villages Hospice House, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162.
