Linda GREIF Obituary

GREIF, Linda Diane Lybrand passed away peacefully at home in Black Hawk, CO on June 2, 2022 surrounded by her daughter, son-in-law and beloved German Shepherd, Mia. She spent her life caring for and helping others. She was an adopted mother to many and loved by all who were lucky enough to know her. Born in San Antonio, TX, she moved around frequently in her youth with her family eventually settling in Tampa, FL in the mid 1960s. She was a proud graduate of Plant High School's class of 1969. She spent most of her life in Tampa where she met and married her husband, Tim, and had two children, Clayton and Amanda. She proudly worked at the Tampa Airport from the early 1990s until she retired in 2016. In her retirement she spent time with her family in Charleston, SC and Colorado. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, giving heart and radiant smile and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved her and whose lives were made better by her. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Cecil and Thurla Lybrand; and her brother, Phillip M. Lybrand. A celebration of her life will take place in Tampa, FL on her birthday July 27, 2022. Linda was my maid of honor in 1972 . Many memories growing up with her and running the roads. Will remember her smile and laughter always. Rest In Peace my friend. Love you.
