Linda Potter Obituary

Potter, Linda Lucille (Harris)

of Seminole, FL passed away on August 13, 2025 at the age of 77. Alzheimer's never dented Linda's gentle, sweet, cooperative, loving spirit. She was a joy to be with until the very end.

Born and raised in South Dakota, Linda earned her pharmacy degree at South Dakota State University and practiced for several years in Minnesota. Always a lover of small children, Linda then taught Montessori pre-school. before returning to pharmacy and working at some 70 Target stores scattered across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Florida.

Linda and Bob Potter were together for more than 30 wonderful years, enjoying hours of recreational boating – and a few moments of fright – on the Mississippi and St. Croix Rivers and, after moving to Florida in 2005, on the Gulf Coast. An avid gardener, Linda had a huge flower garden with many unusual species at her house in St. Petersburg. She loved collecting and planting seeds and watching what would sprout. She was a member of America's Boating Club|US Power Squadrons and was treasurer in 2013 of the St. Petersburg chapter. Linda earned her Senior Navigator grade after passing all the club's education courses.

Linda is survived by her husband, Bob Potter; son, Jacob Larson of St. Paul, Minnesota; three sisters; a brother; several nieces; nephews; and cousins.

An informal memorial will be held on Thursday, August 28 at 2:30 pm at Lake Seminole Square, 8333 Seminole Blvd., Seminole, FL 33772.
