Lori MUIR Obituary
59, of Tampa passed away September 1, 2018. Born and raised in Tampa, she was a 1977 graduate of Leto High School and received her Bachelor's Degree from University of South Florida. Lori managed her father's State Farm Insurance Agency for many years and was an active member of Lutheran Church of our Saviour. Survivors include her loving husband of 30 years, Fraser Muir; son, Scott Muir; daughter, Lindsay Wood and husband, Justin; parents, Thomas and Norma Parsons; siblings, Karen Groh (Kevin), T. Kent Parsons, Jeffery Parsons, and Paul Parsons (Cheryl); granddaughter, Emma Wood; and her furry companion, Stuart. Family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Thursday, September 13 at the Blount and Curry Funeral Home, Oldsmar/West Hillsborough Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Dr, Tampa. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 14 at the Lutheran Church of our Saviour, 8401 W Hillsborough Ave, Tampa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church in Lori's memory.

OUR HEARTS GO OUT TO LORI'S ENTIRE FAMILY. WE HAVE KNOWN LORI FOR MANY YEARS AS WE WERE STATE FARM CUSTOMERS OF HER DAD'S, TOM PARSONS, SINCE 1967. WHAT A WONDERFUL FAMILY. LORI WAS A REAL SWEETHEART AND WAS SO GREAT AT HER JOB. WE MISSED HER GREATLY WHEN TOM RETIRED AND THE OFFICES ON HANLEY ROAD WERE CLOSED, AND WE WILL NOW MISS HER EVEN MORE. HEAVEN HAS RECEIVED A BEAUTIFUL SOUL AND THE WORLD HAS LOST SOMEONE THAT MADE IT BETTER.
