Louis Anthony Diaz obituary

Louis Diaz Obituary

DIAZ, Louis Anthony, 50, was taken from his family November 13, 2009. Louie is survived by his wife of 29 years, Kathy; daughter, Nikki; and grandson Jayden; his loving parents, Louis and Becky; brother, Timmy; sister, Celena Markart; grand-mother, Ruth Puleo; six wonderful nieces; and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, a large extended family; countless friends who thought the world of him, and a mother-in-law who loved him as her own for how he loved her daughter. The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at Stowers Funeral Home in Brandon, Fla. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. "He was a ray of sunshine in the lives of those who loved him, and with that big smile and beautiful blue eyes, he would light up a room as soon as he walked in. To have known Louie, you knew the true meaning of love and you were blessed. He brought so much happiness to so many people. Everyone who had the opportunity to know him knew what a special man he was. His family was everything to him and he will never, ever be forgotten. The world was changed forever when we lost the most wonderful, loving man you could ever have known. Louie had a heart big as gold and he touched every person who knew him in a very special way. The Diaz family has lost a beautiful soul and we will cherish many, many wonderful memories for the rest of our lives. We will gather as a family and be strong through this terrible time. That' s what Louie would want; his family to carry on, enjoy life, and keep his memory alive forever. Mom and Pop Diaz, thank you for giving us Louie and for all your love and support. We will get through this together." "My sweet Daddy, my soul mate, the love of my life for all these glorious years. I will forever be thankful for the love you gave me and the beautiful life we shared together. My heart is yours forever." Stowers - Brandon

This is really a shock to me as Louie was a brother to me aduring a long period of time in my life. 2man baseball, football after school at Adams jr. high. Baseball at rome and Sligh, Lowery park. We went to school together at Hillsborough, spent the night at each others house and were inseperable. The last time we spoke it was of meeting and getting together at a Bucs game as we were both huge fans! I remember when Louie and Kathy met at school how he found his lifemate. Mrs. Diaz you have lost a great person as a son as did Louis sr., Timmy and Selena lost a great brother as well. Kathy my heart goes out to you and I wish you all the best. I will always remember Louie with that big smile on his face and a quick joke on his tongue. I am a lucky man to have had him in my life.
Godspeed my brother,
John(Jack)Burke

This a complete shock to me to hear from my mom and brother about this tragedy. Louie and I were brothers for so long and were a big part of each others lives.I can still remember 2 man baseball, football games at Adams field everyday as kids. I met Louie in school and at Henry and Ola playground as preteens and were together everyday through highschool. We played baseball together through many years as preadults. I remember when he met Kathy and he was deeply in love for many years. As adults he helped me work on my house or whatever he could do to help as a friend. Godspeed my friend. you will be missed and my deepest condolenses to Kathy, Nikki, Big Louie,Mrs. Diaz, Timmy,Salena and all the Diaz family I only wish I could have said goodbye to my dear and great friend.
With much love,
John(Jack)Burke

Louis was a wonderful man! I am so sorry that after i left sjdc I did not get to see him again. He always came thru the lightroom a couple of times a day and would always yell out my name and i would yell out his and we would slap hands together! I will truly miss him and god bless your family during this time.

When Ray came into the office on Monday to gives us the news on Louis' passing I was in shock and remain that way! I cannot believe that this has happend to him and am saddened to know that I will never see Loise walk thru the door again at work to deliver films/CD's/reports. He would just brighten my day with his big smile and caring ways and we would talk about our dogs together because we got them around the same time and we would compare notes as to who was doing what! I have known Louis for the past 16 years, what a truly amazing guy! I cannot say enough good things about him because there is always more! He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. My heart and prayers go out to his grieving family. You all meant the world to Louis! I will always hear that sweet voice greet me "HEY NANCY, HOW ARE YOU TODAY!" You could'nt help but smile back at him, if you were having a bad day, well for that few seconds it was all better with his presence! what a sweet heart, I will truly miss him coming in. RIP Louie! Your friend always! Nancy

I worked with Luicito (as I called him) for 4 1/2 years at SDI and we would all sit around and have lunch on the picnic tables. We were always laughing, telling stories about West Tampa when we were growing up and discussing ways to lose weight. He was a good friend and coworker when I had issues in my life he was always there to cheer me up. I never lost touch with him as he would pass down the street from my new job and would wave as he drove by on his route. He was a GREAT man and Kathy my love and deepest sympathy are with you and the family. I will miss seeing him drive by and wave.

As I heard the news on Friday, I couldn't believe what had happened. My heart was broken. For the 4 years that I worked with you I so looked forward to our cafe con leche and conversations together. Our special lunches with Valerie and Jean meant everything. Your kindness and support of me and my family will not be forgotten. I have been blessed to have known you and will always remember you with a smile. Thank you for all the special times. May God provide your loving Kathy and Nikki as well as the rest of the family with the strength and faith to get through this difficult time. I often say we are gifts to each other here in this life for an undetermined amount of time and to enjoy every moment together. I know that you did just that with all those you touched.
Love Always,
Liana
