I have nothing but fond memories of Rev. Jones as my pastor at River Grove UMC. I've been blessed by my friendship with him and the family since I left Tampa over 30 years ago. On my visits back to Tampa he would make sure I took a little Tampa home with me in the form of smoked mullet! I cherish these fond memories and hold them in my heart. I'm holding Uary and Thomas close in my heart during this time. Much love to the family.

I am heartbroken about my buddy Reverend Lewis Jones. My prayers goes out to the family I am a daughter of the late Leon Mickler and the late Daphney Mickler. I remember since I was a little girl I used to go to his church with my late father Leon to hear his sermon,church over there across the street at Robles elementary United Methodist Church that's when I met Reverend Louis Jones. Now I just got word he passed my heart goes out to the family and his friends but now he's joining and united with my late father Leon Mickler and my mother Daphney and everybody else are now my ancestors now you go on with your golden wings and fly like an Eagle Rev.Jones you deserve it, you rest and you rest well love Gretchen Mickler, The Author of The Strength of a Woman With Pearl Wisdom pearl on Amazon.
