Margaret R. McAfee

MCAFEE, Margaret R., age 81, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014 in Sarasota, Florida. She was born on November 26, 1933 in Avon Park, Florida to the late Theresa Roan Sellers. Margaret was a lifelong resident of Avon Park and a member of the First Baptist Church of Avon Park. She is survived by her husband: Joseph E. McAfee of Avon Park, her sons: Paul McAfee (Carrie) of Lakeland, FL, Ted McAfee (Ina) of Oviedo, FL, daughter: Gay Cook (Tom) of Avon Park, grandchildren: Kelly Townsend, Robin Davis, Jennifer Stukey, seven great-grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her grandson: Ryan Martin. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park. A funeral service officiated by Reverend Jon Beck will follow at 7 p.m. Interment will be at Bougainvillea Cemetery.
