Marian Condaxis Obituary

CONDAXIS, Marian Jane Age 84, of Branson, MO. Funeral service will be held at 10am, Monday, March 1, 2010 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson with Fr. Joseph Strzelecki officiating. Burial will follow at 2pm in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home of Branson. She died at 2:50pm, Monday, Feb. 22, 2010 at Cox Medical Center South. She was born on July 8, 1925 in St. Louis, MO the daughter of John and Sophia Kontoleon. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of the Clearwater for over 20 years and had recently moved to Branson, MO to be with her family last year. She is survived by her two children, Christina Tsahiridis (Dimitri) of Branson, MO, John Kastanas of St. Louis; two siblings, Gus Kontoleon (Ann) of Richmond Heights, MO, Ronnie Magafas (George) of Clearwater; a brother-in-law, John Carnasiotis of St. Louis; 7 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James P. Condaxis and her son Constandinos Kastanas and her sister Gloria Carnasiotis. Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Sunday, Feb. 28 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 409 South Old Coachman Road, Clearwater, FL 33765.
